What Rapcord is
Rapcord is an independent, community-maintained customization for the Discord desktop client, licensed under GPL-3.0-or-later. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord. Using client modifications may conflict with Discord's terms; you use Rapcord at your own risk.
License
The Rapcord client source is available under GPL-3.0-or-later. The bundled Rapcord T1 theme is a remix of Eight_P's T1 theme (MIT) and keeps its attribution and license.
Updates
Rapcord releases are provided as-is. Always verify the SHA-256 of an installer. Do not run a file whose checksum doesn't match the download page.
Badges
Rapcord badges are Rapcord profile decorations only. They are not Discord badges and grant no Discord permissions or status. Owner and Lav are fixed assignments.
Executable custom plugins
Custom and third-party plugins are executable JavaScript that runs in your client with its privileges. Rapcord does not review or guarantee third-party code. You are responsible for what you install.
Service moderation
Rapcord admins can restrict access to Rapcord's own services (for example badges). These actions never ban, mute or moderate anyone on Discord.
No warranty
Rapcord is provided without warranty of any kind, as described in the GPL.
