Download and install on Windows
Last reviewed 2026-10-23
- Download the latest published Windows x64 Rapcord installer from the download page.
- Check the version, file size and SHA-256 shown on the release page. Compare the SHA-256 with one you calculate locally before running the file.
- Close every Discord window (also from the system tray), run
Rapcord-<version>-Setup.exe, and follow the installer. Choose the detected Stable installation or select a custom Discord installation when needed. - Start Discord again from the Start menu and confirm Rapcord appears in its settings.
Check the SHA-256 on Windows
Open PowerShell in your Downloads folder and run:
Get-FileHash .\Rapcord-1.2.3-Setup.exe -Algorithm SHA256The Hash value must match the release page exactly (case does not matter). If it does not match, do not run the file.
Good to know
- Rapcord is an in-client customization installed into the desktop Discord client — not a replacement Discord service.
- Never share your Discord token with anyone, including Rapcord.
- Discord updates can require a Rapcord update.
If installer selection or patching fails: close Discord fully, check the installer log, verify the selected install path, and use Rapcord's repair/uninstall option before retrying. Do not delete random Discord folders.
