Updating Rapcord

Rapcord checks the update feed hosted by this website for the Windows x64 platform. When an update is available, it:

1. Shows the new version and its release notes.
2. Downloads the published installer over HTTPS.
3. Validates the file size and SHA-256 against the update feed.
4. Opens the installer so you run it. The installer — not a silent background process — performs the update.

You can also download any published release manually from the download page.

Troubleshooting

• Check your internet connection, restart Discord and try again later.
• Compare the displayed checksum with the release page.
• If validation fails, do not run the file. Download again, or report the version and error message.
• "No update available" means the feed has no newer compatible release.

Automatic updates are only available on Windows x64, the only platform with a real client.
